Apple stalls with 3 inside days

By Arthur Hill
Chart Pattern
While the market continued higher the last three days, Apple (AAPL) stalled with three inside days. This stall comes after last week’s wedge breakout, which is still holding. A move below last week’s gap (252) would negate the breakout.

i had not heard the term 'inside days' before. i graphically see what is being talked about. what is its significance as far as determining market direction?

Art's Answer: Inside day(s) reflect a consolidation. The direction of the subsequent breakout provides the first directional clue.
