Here's a quick guided tour of the features on the StockCharts homepage: http://stockcharts.com
The Top Half
1.) To navigate to the major areas of the website, click on any of the 7 tabs that you see at the top of all of our pages. The current area is always highlighted in white.
2.) To create a new chart, use the "Create a Chart" bar at the top of any of our pages. Just start typing the ticker symbol for the chart you want to chart and press "Go". If you don't know the ticker symbol, just type part of the company's name and we'll show you symbols that match what you type.
3.) You can also use the "Start to Chart" box on the homepage to create a chart.
4.) "Today in the Market" gives you a great overview of what the major markets are doing. Click on the tabs above the chart to switch the chart to another market. Note the "Market Summary" link located right below "Today in the Market." Click that link to see a much deeper picture of what is happening in the markets.
5.) The "Currently Trending" area contains a "ticker cloud" - a collection of ticker symbols that are sized according to their currently popularity with other StockCharts users.
