How Do I Create an Inverted Chart?

Currently, we don't have a way to invert the vertical scale for a SharpChart. We do however have a way to calculate the reciprocal of any dataset and chart that. It's not exactly the same, but it is often good enough. $ONE is a special symbol that always equals 1 which is why this "trick" works. We hope to provide a true way to invert a chart at some point in the future. Most people are interested in the reciprocal of $VIX so we are using that in this example.

Enter $ONE and A Colon Before $VIX

Enter "$ONE:$VIX" in the "Symbol" box above the chart. Click "Update" and your chart will update with the reciprocal.
