Public ChartLists are collections of charts that a StockCharts.com member chooses to share publicly on StockCharts.com. Periodically, all lists are ranked according to several different popularity factors including unique visitors, votes from members, "followers" and other factors. StockCharts subscribers can vote for up to 3 different lists that you enjoy each day once per day. Votes "expire" over time so you want to continue voting every day for your favorites. Only logged in StockCharts members can "Follow" a list and/or "Vote" for it.

The Percentage Price Oscillator (PPO) is a momentum oscillator that measures the difference between two moving averages as a percentage of the larger moving average. The PPO-Histogram can be used to anticipate signal line crossovers in the PPO. You can add a solid line at the Zero level to more easily identify crossovers. Your browser stores copies of the webpages that you visit on your local hard drive in something called the Temporary File Cache. Over time, this cache may fill up and that may cause unexpected behavior from our site such as charts that stop updating and forms that don't work.

If you see strange behavior from our website, one of the first things to try is to clear your Temporary File Cache and then restart your computer. Please follow the steps depending on if you use Window's or Mac.

Currently, we don't have a way to invert the vertical scale for a SharpChart. We do however have a way to calculate the reciprocal of any dataset and chart that. It's not exactly the same, but it is often good enough. $ONE is a special symbol that always equals 1 which is why this "trick" works. We hope to provide a true way to invert a chart at some point in the future. Most people are interested in the reciprocal of $VIX so we are using that in this example.

Do you want to add multiple symbols to a list at once rather than 1 chart at a time? You can do that with the "Add Symbols - Upload" feature. This option is available for Basic and Extra members that want to insert symbols from a spreadsheet into one of their StockCharts ChartLists.

Extra members can have up to 200 lists with 500 charts per list. As your lists develop, you may find a need to move or copy a chart amongst your lists.  These are instructions for copying or moving charts between lists.
